We want to thank all our friends who came out to support Lowside as we opened up for Tom Keifer of Cinderella at Trees in Dallas! You guys helped make it an awesome show for us and we can't wait to do it again. You guys are our Lowside family and we can't do it without you!
Tom Keifer has always been a very cool artist and he made good on it that night too! What a great show and cool vibe in that room that night.

Lowside Live - April 6th - Trees - Dallas!

 The Lowside live show hiatus is over!! Our first show back is at Trees in Dallas for the annual Basement Reunion on April 6th. If you've ever been to a Basement Reunion show, you know how much fun they are so you definitely don't want to miss this night of good friends, laughs and fun. All our old friends getting together to play that night too! Lord Tracy, Spiders, Chastity, Deep South Union, Blackout and Bankok Shock will keep us all rockin' and smiling all night long!

CD Artwork Madness!

 We've been working non-stop on the CD artwork and many ideas and themes have come and gone but we've finally recruited an old dark and twisted friend of the family to create something that's going to absolutely blow your mind! Not gonna give up much more than that but you'll hear all about it  and see if for yourself sooner, rather than later. Be very afraid!

The Lowside CD is Finished!

 We would like to thank Sterling Winfield for all his help in producing this record with us and Maor Appelbaum for an awesome mastering job! It's been a long, long road to get to this point and now we take on a new journey. Y'all come hop on board the Lowside Train with us, this is going to be fun!

Lowside is off to Mastering!

Well, it's been quite the journey but we are finally finished with this project and have sent it off to Mastering. As soon as we get the finished product in our hands, we'll put some songs up on here so you guys can finally check it out. Let's get it on!

Mix OCD

Well, we've finally arrived at the end of the mixing phase, well, almost! All 11 tracks are mixed and we've gone back and performed final tweaks on six of the songs so now we're going to do the same with the last 5 tracks. Just small little tweaks that have been bugging us as we drive around listening to it. We're hoping one more session and we'll be ready to take it out of our hands and send it on to Mastering. ARE WE THERE YET?

Studio Report - 3 is the Magic Number!

Sorry it's been so long without an update, life is moving quickly over here. We've been busy mixing this summer and have completed 8 tracks which leaves only 3 songs remaining before we send this baby to mastering. We're so excited about what we've got so far and can't wait to hear it mastered!

Studio Report - Mixing!

 Well, we've finally completed tracking and have moved into Mix Mode! The first song "Here and Now" is mixed and we're starting "Fear for You" now. There's light at the end of this tunnel!

Curtain Club - Robert Miguel's Birthday Bash!

We had a blast this weekend at Robert Miguel's Birthday Bash and want to thank all of our friends for coming out in the rain to hang out with us. We wanted to introduce the new guys so we went ahead and took this gig and did a quick acoustic set.
Craig and Mel were awesome in their first time out with Lowside.
This is gonna be fun!!

Welcome Craig and Mel

As we move into 2012, we'd like to introduce Craig Cowsert and Mel Bittick as the newest additions to the Lowside team. Both guys are veterans of the Dallas music scene and have years of experience between them.
Craig is an awesome bass player and is also a lead singer so he's going to add an whole new dimension to our vocals.
Mel is solid as a rock on drums and is also a really good singer so here come with Queen harmonies!!
We welcome these guys and look forward getting out and playing music together very soon.

Studio Report - Vocals 1

We're well into tracking the vocals now at Sterling's Boot Hill Studio and it's going great so far. This recording process has taken us through a many a season now and even the birth of a baby and we're still moving forward! There's light at the end of the tunnel. Or a train!!

All the guitars are finished now so it's time to move into Sterling's Boot Hill Studio in his home to start laying down vocal tracks.

Studio Report - Drums and Bass!

Drums and Bass tracks are finished so it's time to say goodbye and thanks to Gary and the folks at Nomad Studio. Sterling knocked it out da park on the drums and bass.
Now it's time to move the Lowside machine to Skyline Studios in downtown Dallas to start tracking guitars.

Studio Report - It's On!

With preproduction and rehearsals complete, it's time to finally start the recording process! For the first phase we're going into Nomad Studios to record the Drums and Bass on 2" tape to get that big, warm, old school feel. Sterling Winfield (Pantera, Damage Plan, Hellyeah) is at the controls and co-producing with the band.
